Alutec Evolve
The Marley Alutec Evolve aluminium gutter system combines the longevity and low maintenance of marine grade aluminium with the ease and speed of installation of plastic gutter systems.
Evolve's Industry leading flow rates, reduces the number of downpipes required. The Heritage black finish also emulates the appearance of cast iron, so is a good choice for both modern and traditional builds.

The Evolve range
The Evolve range is made up of 4 gutter profiles, which includes 1/2 round, deepflow, ogee and box. The gutter systems are designed to install similar to a plastic system with external snap in joints which contain a rubber seal, used in conjunction with the SC101 silicone this offers a system with a working life expectancy of 50 years. These systems are often used across all build types. The Evolve Downpipe is a 63mm system, originally introduced for use with the Evolve 1/2 round gutter system, but can be used with any Alutec gutter system which offers a 63mm outlet.
What sizes and lengths are the Evolve Gutter systems?
Each gutter profile comes in 1 size and are supplied in 3m lengths.
What sizes and lengths are the Evolve downpipes available in?
Evolve downpipe is supplied in 3m lengths, sockets are sold separately on this system (eared and non eared).
Which colours are available on these systems?
Alutec offer 19 standard powder coating colours including Heritage (textured) black 80% Gloss, with 18 options in 30% Gloss, along with Mill finish materials. Other colour preferences will incur additional surcharges.
what centres are the Evolve downpipes fixed at?
Clips / socket fixing points are recommended at 1.5m spacings (additional may be required where branches / bends are installed).
What are the lead-times?
Normal lead-time on the Evolve ranges vary from 2 to 10 working days for standard products (dependant of profile/ colour / size) , we will always endeavour to improve on this where possible. Non Standard colours allow 15 working days.
We require non standard products, what would the Leadtime be?
Allow 20 working days for non standard items, this allows time for drawing approval, fabrication and coating. We will endeavor to improve on this where possible.
My project is in a coastal location, will this be suitable?
Alutec use Marine grade aluminium for it's ranges, to minimise corrosion and effects of high salinity areas. Whilst Architectural grades of coatings are used, please be aware powder coatings are generally porous and will allow some level of moisture and air to penetrate the surface, it is recommended to increase the frequency of periodic cleaning to maximise the life expectancy on the products.
How long will it last?
Alutec Rainwater systems have a working life expectancy of 50 years with minimal periodic maintenance.
How will my order be delivered?
Alutec use third-party couriers for their deliveries. Smaller orders will usually be delivered via DX with packages unloaded by the driver. Larger orders may be palletised and delivered by your local Palletways haulier. Pallets will require offloading at the delivery address either by mechanical means or by hand, by people on site. Please clarify before ordering if you have any concerns. Please also make us aware of any access restrictions or special delivery instructions in advance.
Can you deliver anywhere?
Alutec deliver to UK mainland addresses as standard. Other locations may be possible upon request but will incur extra charges.
