How many colours are available in the Lindab HR Magestic Rainline System  rainwater range?

Magestic is an unpainted galvanised steel system which has a silver metallic colour initially. Once installed the protective finish adjusts naturally within the environment, settling to an attractive dark grey metallic appearance. 

What profile sizes and lengths does the Lindab Magestic Galvanised HR gutter come in?

Lindab offer half round gutters in 100mm, 125mm, 150mm and 190mm widths in 3m lengths as standard but available in other lengths on request. 

What are your recommended fascia and rafter bracket centres?

Lindab recommend 600mm spacing between gutter brackets.

Where do I need a union joint?

Gutter joints are required at all points where two gutters should be joined or where a gutter meets a gutter angle.

Do I need silicone to join Lindab Magestic Galvanised gutters and downpipes?

Lindab standard RSK gutter joints and RG self-locking stop ends have built-in EPDM rubber gaskets meaning sealant is not required. For RGV/ RGH stop ends used for 190mm gutters, sealant is recommended. It is not essential to use sealant during the fitting of the gutter outlet or between pipe fittings however a fitter may choose to use sealant.

Can the gutter be installed level?

Gutter brackets should be installed to create a fall of 10mm per 3m gutter in the direction of the gutter outlet. 

What size diameter and lengths does the Lindab Magestic Galvanised Downpipe come in? 

Lindab offer downpipes in 75mm, 87mm, 100mm and 120mm diameters in 3m lengths as standard but available in other lengths on request. 

What are your downpipe bracket centre?

Lindab recommend 1.5m spacing between pipe brackets.

Do you supply a Leaf guard?

Lindab offer a gutter brush, a leaf filter which can be used with a drain shoe, a drain trap or a self-cleaning leaf trap as options as preventative options to stop leaves and other debris causing potential blockages. 

I house is situated near a lot of trees, what should maintenance programme be?

Galvanised building components should be regularly inspected to ensure the surface is clean and rust protection is applied to any damaged areas. Refer to the Lindab Magestic Maintenance Guide-

What should I do if I have to cut the gutter & Downpipes, will it jepordise the warranty? 

Magestic has improved cut edge protection with a galvanised coating which migrates to protect cuts and scratches however damage to the coating on Magestic, regardless of whether it occurs during construction or afterwards, can mean that the sheeting is less well protected against corrosion and increase the risk of the surface darkening unevenly.

What do I do if I live near a Marine environment?

A reduced warranty period is provided for areas with a C4 corrosivity class. Lindab do not offer a warranty for this product if installed in a C5 environment.
